Scrapbooks, 1898-1941
|
|
The majority of materials in the collection is found in forty-three scrapbooks covering Farrar's life and career. Many, particularly the oversize scrapbooks in boxes 28, 44, 45, and 46, are in poor condition with loose and brittle pages. The scrapbooks dating 1898 and before, 1914-1919, and 1919-1921 contain numerous photographs. The scrapbook dated 1914-1919 contains several pages of photographs of Farrar taken during World War I to publicize the War Bonds Drive and the Victrola Records Campaign. All of the scrapbooks in the collection should be handled with extreme care. |
