Presentation volume, created by SR's granddaughter Sophie Wolkonsky, consisting of a handwritten Russian text apparently inspired by an episode in Pushkin's poem Evgeniĭ Onegin. The cover bears its handwritten title and date, as well as a watercolor illustration of a bear. The volume's first recto page bears an inscription in Russian reading "to my grandmother."
