Holograph manuscript scores, sketches, and parts for original compositions by Diamond primarily comprise the music series. The series also includes a small amount of Diamond's arrangements of works by other composers, as well as harmony exercises and inscribed materials.
Arranged as three subseries.

Holograph manuscript scores, sketches, and parts for original compositions by Diamond are the chief components of this subseries. The term 'draft' refers to a complete early pencil score, whereas 'sketch' indicates material of a more fragmentary nature. Diamond's sketchbooks are located under the heading 'Miscellaneous works.'
