   The collection documents radio history in Shreveport, Louisiana, with a special emphasis on the Louisiana Hayride country music program. Major topics include the earliest radio broadcasts in Shreveport, the founding and growth of KWKH radio under owner/broadcaster W.K. Henderson, and the legendary performances of the Louisiana Hayride program, which was broadcast live on KWKH radio from the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.
