    Summary:

    Collection of printed caricatures and political cartoons in French, German, and Italian primarily about the Franco-Prussian War and the Siege of Paris in 1870-1871. Most are removed from periodicals such as, L'Eclipse and La Charge. Some later material satirizes the political situation in France following the conclusion of the war. These include sheet music for a song denouncing Napoleon III and a lithographed board game about the Dreyfus Affair in French politics.
