The project began in 1999 and continued though 2016.

Includes genealogical papers relating to the Hotchkiss and Beecher families, copies of William Barton Rogers's notebooks for his geological survey of Virginia, and papers of Hotchkiss's wife, Sara Anne Comfort Hotchkiss.
