    Summary:

    Interview conducted for the Veterans History Project 2003. This collection contains audio recordings, civilian papers, clippings, correspondence, creative works, a diary, military papers, mixed manuscripts, mixed periodicals, unit histories, a transcript, and photographs relating to Leonard John Kovar's service in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. The majority of this collection consists of correspondence between Kovar and his family, some of which was written while Kovar was a prisoner of war.

    Proxy interview with the veteran's wife, Catherine Vail Bridge, was conducted by Athena Chiera for the Veterans History Project in 2005. Collection includes a biography of Arthur Hamilton Bridge by his wife, books, civilian papers, clippings, correspondence, diaries and journals, maps, memoirs, military papers, periodicals, printed matter, unit histories, a transcript, digital prints, negatives, original photographic prints, photocopies of photographic prints, slides and a VHS video recording of the 2005 interview. The collection also includes a transcript of an interview with Arthur Hamilton Bridge conducted January 18, 1980.
