Arrangement

The collection is arranged into two series: Series 1: Newsletters and Series 2: Event Documentation. The latter series includes documentation across several media generations. While the collection was under the care of the Center for Traditional Music and Dance, many original recordings were transferred to newer media carriers, usually multiple times. Therefore, for any one event, the user may see similarly labeled entries on open reel audio tape, DAT, CD, and digital files, for example. The association between such recordings may be inferred to show several migrations of preservation copies from one carrier/technology to another.
