Laurie Beth Kalb Cosmo collection of New Mexico folklife documentation, 1976-1992

Scope and Content

The collection includes manuscripts, correspondence, photographs, and audio recordings related to the New Mexico Folklife Project collection. Laurie Beth Kalb Cosmo represented the Museum of International Folk Art (Santa Fe) on the project and conducted fieldwork with Carl Fleischhauer, consultant, of the American Folklife Center. This collection includes fieldwork related to Cosmo's M.A. (1985) and Ph.D. (1992) theses at the University of Pennsylvania and other projects.
