Appendix A: Photograph ID Concordance
Concordance matching original photograph ID numbers with the AFC assigned PH numbers. The photograph numbering system was inconsistent and often has duplicate IDs. As a result, Sara Ludewig assigned each photograph an AFC PH number. Hall's fieldnotes may contain references to the original photograph ID numbers. This concordance can be used to match the new PH number with the original ID number. Some photographs also were accompanied by item level description of the subjects and contents of the photograph. A hard copy of item level photograph indexes is available in the collection but is also duplicated here for ease of use.
