Biographical Notes
Howard Elbridge Robbins was born March 28th, 1888, in Shelton, Nebraska. Prior to World War I, he married his wife Mildred. He enlisted in the United States Navy in the summer of 1917, and was assigned as a Baker First Class for the USS Wakula. Aboard the USS Wakula, Robbins sailed across the North Atlantic, visiting Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the Panama Canal Zone. He died in 1963.
