Biographical Note
Harry W. Frantz was an international editor and correspondent for the Washington Bureau of United Press International for more than four decades. He was born November 5, 1891 and died April 26, 1982. Frantz, a native of Carro Gordo, Ill., attended Stanford University and served in World War I with the American Red Cross overseas and then as a captain in the Army. During World War II, he was with the Commerce and State departments.
