Accruals
No further accruals to Class L are expected. However, regular accruals of motion picture copyright descriptions for Class PA, the successor category to Class L, are received and added to the collections of the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center.
Processing History
The Motion Picture Copyright Descriptions Collection was processed by the staff of the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center.
In addition, conservationists with the Library of Congress Preservation Directorate are presently (2021) engaged in a multi-year project to stabilize and preserve materials in this collection, beginning with the earliest materials from 1912-1919. Researchers should note that some of the material may be physically unavailable while undergoing conservation treatment. Please contact a reference librarian in the Moving Image Research Center for further information.
