Processing History
The textual and graphic materials, along with the artifacts in the collection, were processed by Karen Lund, Laura Gottesman, and Marco Samayoa in 2000 as part of the overall preparation for the Library's online American Memory presentation, "Emile Berliner and the Birth of the Recording Industry." Many of the published sound recordings were individually cataloged prior to 2000, but most of the unpublished recordings have not been individually cataloged.
