Scope and Content Note
The papers of Edwin Arlington Robinson (1869-1935) span the years 1913-1940 and consist of correspondence and holograph poems, including "Amaranth," "Lancelot and Guinevere," "The Master," "Old King Cole," "Talifer," and "Tristram." Many of the poems represented here appeared in Robinson's Man Against the Sky: A Book of Poems (1916). Also included are nine letters by Robinson, 1924-1932, and one letter about him. The collection was originally assembled by Robinson's fellow poet and friend Louis Ledoux.
