Provenance
The papers of William A. Rusher, lawyer, publisher, and author, were given to the Library of Congress by Rusher in 1989. Two additions were sent to the Library by Rusher between 1997 and 2004. Another addition was given by the estate of William A. Rusher in 2015.
Processing History
The papers of William A. Rusher were arranged and described in 1993. Additional material received between 1997 and 2015 was processed in 2016.
Transfers
Sound recordings have been transferred to the Library's Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division where they are identified as part of the William A. Rusher Papers.
Microfilm
A microfilm edition of part of these papers is available on thirty-four reels. Consult reference staff in the Manuscript Division concerning availability for purchase or interlibrary loan. The microfilm in these papers was produced by the office of the National Review and is included in the collection as its own series.
