Acquisition Information
The papers of Maxine Singer, biochemist, science advocate, and administrator, were given to the Library of Congress by Singer between 2003 and 2007.
Processing History
The papers of Maxine Singer were arranged and described by Erica Haakensen, Elizabeth Suckow, and Michael McElderry in 2007. An addition was processed and the finding aid revised by Pang H. Xiong in 2022.
Transfers
Audiocassettes and a videotape have been transferred to the Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division where they are identified as part of the Maxine Singer Papers. Patrons are encouraged to contact the Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division in advance of a research visit.
