The papers of Josef Breuer, physician, physiologist, and colleague of Sigmund Freud, were given to the Library of Congress by his granddaughters Marie Kann and Mrs. Felix Ungar, by Mrs. Erich Schiff, and by the Sigmund Freud Archives between 1952 and 1993.
Processing History
The papers of Josef Breuer were arranged and described in 1985. The collection was expanded and revised in 1991 and 1995. The finding aid was revised in 2007.
