Scope and Content Note
The papers of Harold Sunde (1900-1990) span the years 1925-1948 and consist of correspondence, memoranda, legal documents, reports, blueprints, articles, speeches, notes, and printed matter pertaining to Sunde's work as an engineer for Radio Corporation of America, especially the promotion of the RCA Photophone. The collection documents Sunde's role in the introduction of the first film sound reproducing equipment in England and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
