Provenance
The Puerto Rican Memorial Collection was given to the Library of Congress by Alice Bache Gould in a series of installments from 1941 to 1947. Additional items were given by James G. Shine in 1988.
Processing History
The Puerto Rican Memorial Collection was arranged and described in 1999. The register was revised in 2008.
Transfers
Pamphlets have been transferred to the Law Library where they are identified as part of the Puerto Rican Memorial Collection.
Microfilm
A microfilm edition of part of these papers is available on three reels. Consult reference staff in the Manuscript Division concerning availability for purchase or interlibrary loan. To promote preservation of the originals, researchers are required to consult the microfilm edition as available.
