Scope and Content Note
The papers of Donald D. Walker span the years 1926-1987 and consist of correspondence, letters of recommendation and inscriptions by Frank Lloyd Wright, clippings, material regarding the Frank Lloyd Wright commemorative postage stamp, and other printed matter. Walker worked as a draftsman for Wright from 1928 to 1931, and Wright's life and work are the primary focus of Walker's papers. The major correspondent is Edgar Tafel, an architect who worked as a general apprentice to Wright and who was preparing a book of remembrances of the people who worked with the noted architect.
