Scope and Content Note
The papers of William Johnson (1771-1834) in the Charles E. Feinberg Collection consist of a series of articles concerning Johnson published in the Michigan Law Review by Abraham J. Levin, 1944-1945. The collection includes holograph manuscripts, typescripts, printed copies, and miscellaneous items documenting the writing and editing of Levin's articles. A two-volume set of Johnson's Sketches of the Life and Correspondence of Nathanael Greene (Charleston, S.C.: [Printed by A. E. Miller], 1822) has been transferred to the Rare Book and Special Collections Division of the Library of Congress.
