The papers of the Keidel family were given to the Library of Congress by George C. Keidel via John C. Fitzpatrick in 1935. Additional material was received by deposit, 1938-1941. An item given to the Library by Keidel via John C. Fitzpatrick was transferred from the Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection in 2000.
Processing History
The collection was reprocessed in 2000. The finding aid was revised in 2009.

Eisenhower Library of Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md., and the Ferdinand Hamburger Archives, also at Johns Hopkins University. The Maryland Historical Society in Baltimore also holds a collection of George C. Keidel papers.
