Scope and Content Note
The papers of Eugene Jules Houdry (1892-1962) span the years 1931-1980, with the bulk of the material dating from 1948-1959. The papers are in English and French. A large portion of the papers consists of Houdry's notes on the topics of catalysts and catalytic cracking in the petroleum industry. Included also in the collection are remarks and papers concerning air pollution, petroleum chemistry, and public health. The correspondence was written between Houdry's sons, Jacques H. and Pierre D. Houdry, and Jeffrey K. Stine.
