Acquisition Information
The papers of Edward Goodrich Acheson, electrochemist, engineer, and inventor, were given to the Library of Congress by his children, Howard A. Acheson and Margaret A. Stuart, and by Raymond Szymanowitz in 1972.
Processing History
The Acheson Papers were processed in 1975. The finding aid was revised in 2011.

Photographs have been transferred to the appropriate custodial division of the Library where they are identified as a part of these papers.
