Provenance
The papers of Albert Jeremiah Beveridge, United States senator from Indiana, lawyer, historian, and biographer, were given to the Library of Congress by his wife between 1940 and 1953. Additional installments to the papers were given between 2006-2011 by Beveridge's grandson, Albert J. Beveridge III.
Processing History
The Beveridge Papers were processed in 1954. The finding aid was revised in 2007 and again in 2011. Material received between 2006 and 2011 was processed as an addition to the papers in 2012.
