Acquisition Information
The family papers of George Nicholas Sanders, financier, lobbyist, and Confederate agent in Europe, were purchased by the Library of Congress in 1914. An addition was deposited by the estate of Osborne C. Holland in 1981.
Processing History
The papers of the George Nicholas Sanders family were processed circa 1980 by Richard Bickel. The finding aid was revised in 2012 by Michelle Krowl.
