Copyright Status
Copyright in the unpublished writings of Melville Bell Grosvenor in these papers and in other collections of papers in the custody of the Library of Congress has been dedicated to the public. The copyright interests of other heirs of Gardiner G. Hubbard in the Hubbard family papers have not been dedicated, except for those of Mabel Grosvenor and Gertrude Grosvenor Gayley, which were dedicated to the public in 1980 and 1982 respectively.
Access and Restrictions
The papers of the Hubbard family are open to research. Researchers are advised to contact the Manuscript Reading Room prior to visiting. Many collections are stored off-site and advance notice is needed to retrieve these items for research use.
