Acquisition Information
The papers of Louise Imogen Guiney, poet, essayist, journlist, and librarian, were given anonymously by F. Holland Day to the Library of Congress via Julius H. Tuttle of the Massachusetts Historical Society in 1934. Additional material was purchased in 1978.

The papers of Louise Imogen Guiney were processed in 1968 and expanded in 1983. The finding aid was revised in 2013.
