The papers of May Robson, actress and author, were given to the Library of Congress by her son, Edward Gore, from 1944 to 1947.
Processing History
The papers of May Robson were processed in 1944 and revised in 1980. The finding aid was revised again in 2012.
Transfers
Film stills, portraits and stage portraits, and a set of playing cards have been transferred to the Prints and Photographs Division where they are identified as part of the May Robson Papers, and an inventory of a portion this material is available in their finding aid. Patrons are encouraged to contact the Prints and Photographs Division in advance of a research visit.
