Acquisition Information
The papers of Theodore Granik, lawyer and radio and television moderator, were given to the Library of Congress by his widow, Hannah H. Granik, in 1971.
Processing History
The Theodore Granik Papers were processed in 1975 by Joseph Sullivan with the assistance of Michael Miller. An inventory with a folder list was created in 2001 and revised in 2007. Further revisions were made in 2010 and 2013 by Patrick Kerwin and John Monagle.
Transfers
Items have been transferred from the Manuscript Division to other custodial divisions of the Library. Some photographs have been transferred to the Prints and Photographs Division. Audiotapes and phonograph records have been transferred to the Recorded Sound Section of the Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Record Sound Division. All transfers are identified in these divisions as part of the Theodore Granik Papers.
