Acquisition Information
The papers of Waldo Gifford Leland, historian, archivist, and honorary consultant in international relations at the Library of Congress, were given to the Library of Congress in 1966 and 1969 by his widow, Gertrude Dennis Leland. Portions of the collection had previously been deposited in the Library by Leland.
Processing History
The papers of Waldo Gifford Leland were arranged and described in 1968 and expanded in 1978 by Anita L. Nolen. The finding aid was revised in 2013.
