Scope and Content Note
The papers of Antonín Novotný (1891-1978) span the years 1848-1966, with the bulk of the material concentrated in the period 1917-1966. The collection consists mainly of drafts of writings by Novotný on Prague, its history and culture, and his remembrances. Included are scrapbooks containing an early family item, additional manuscripts, printed matter, and newspaper and magazine clippings of writings by Novotný. The collection material is in Czech, but the titles in this finding aid have been translated into English.
