Acquisition Information
The papers of Rudolph Maurice Loewenstein, psychoanalyst, were given to the Library of Congress by the Sigmund Freud Archives, Inc., in 1977. A few items were originally processed as part of the Sigmund Freud Papers, from which they have been transferred to the Loewenstein Papers.
Processing History
The Loewenstein Papers were processed in 1991 by T. Michael Womack. The finding aid was revised in 2012.
