Scope and Content Note
The scrapbooks of Cuno Hugo Rudolph (1860-1931) span the years 1911-1929 and focus on his role as president of the District of Columbia Board of Commissioners, Washington D.C. A banker and civil leader, Rudolph served two stints in the District's commissioner's office, 1910-1913, and again from 1921 to 1926. Included are correspondence, testimonials, and speech material relating to public events and important social and civic occasions in Washington. Also in the collection are photographs, clippings, calling cards, invitations, menus, programs, and other memorabilia.
