Acquisition Information
The records of the American Lands Alliance were given to the Library of Congress by the organization in 2009. Additional items were given by the Brainerd Foundation in 2009.
Processing History
The records of the American Lands Alliance were arranged and described in 2016 by Amanda L. Loeb with the assistance of Kathleen O'Neill.
Digital files were received in the records of the American Lands Alliance on a variety of digital storage media. Each digital storage media was assigned a unique digital ID number. Use the digital ID number to request access copies of the files associated with each media. Transfers
Multiple items have been transferred to the Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division. Seven optical disks containing GIS and spatial data, including one disk of files on roadless areas in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, were transferred to the Geography and Maps Division. All transfers are identified as part of the American Lands Alliance Records.
