Biographical Note
Joe Stephens was an investigative reporter for the Washington Post. He graduated from Miami University in 1981 and worked for various newspapers, including the Kansas City Star, from 1987 to 1999, before joining the investigative unit at the Washington Post in 1999. He was a three-time winner of the George Polk Award and a three-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
