Acquisition Information
The papers of Daniel Hoffman were purchased by the Library of Congress in 2016. Additional material was given to the Library by Elizabeth J. Coleman in 2020.
Processing History
The papers of Daniel Hoffman were arranged and described by Rachel Telford with the assistance of Thomas Bigley in 2019. Additional material was incorporated by Rachel Telford in 2020 and by Matthew Darby in 2022.
Digital files were received as part of the Daniel Hoffman Papers on a variety of storage media, each of which was assigned a unique digital ID number. Use the digital ID number to request access copies of the files associated with each media. Transfers
A nineteenth-century photograph album has been transferred to the Prints and Photographs Division where it is identified as part of the Daniel Hoffman Papers. Patrons are encouraged to contact the Prints and Photographs Division in advance of a research visit.
