Acquisition Information
The papers of Mary Oliver were given to the Library of Congress by NW Orchard LLC, on behalf of Bill Reichblum and Amalie Moses Reichblum, in 2023.
Processing History
The papers of Mary Oliver were arranged and described by Elizabeth Livesey with the assistance of Shandra Morehouse and Tammi Taylor in 2024.
Digital files were received as part of the Mary Oliver Papers on a variety of storage media, each of which was assigned a unique digital ID number. Use the digital ID number to request access copies of the files associated with each media. Transfers
Videocassettes and audiocassettes have been transferred, respectively, to the Moving Image Section and Recorded Sound Section of the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center (NAVCC) where they are identified as part of the Mary Oliver Papers. Patrons are encouraged to contact NAVCC in advance of a research visit.

The papers of Molly Malone Cook, Oliver's partner, can be found at Smith College Special Collections, Northampton, Massachusetts. Cook's papers related to her work with author Norman Mailer can be found at the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin.
