Processing History
Robert Saladini processed the Irving Fine Collection in 1996 with assistance from William Nelson, Rodney Todd, and Claudia Widgery. Morgan Cundiff and Paul Fraunfelter coded the finding aid in 2001. Albert Tucker edited and corrected the finding aid, and Michael A. Ferrando coded it, in 2003.
Transfers
Forty unpublished tapes have been transferred to the Library of Congress Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division (MBRS) where they are indentified as part of the Irving Fine Audio Materials (MAVIS collection number 3291). An inventory of this material is available in the Music Division's collection file.
Materials Cataloged Separately
Some musical scores and sketches have been cataloged individually at ML96.F47, ML96.5.F47, ML30.3C.F55, and ML29c.F527, and can be requested in the Performing Arts Reading Room.
