Summary | Ferde Grofé was an American composer, arranger, conductor and pianist. The collection primarily consists of music manuscript compositions and arrangements, including holograph and copyist scores and parts of Grofé's original compositions, holograph scores and parts for arrangements by Grofé and others that were performed by Grofé's band, and works for symphonic orchestra. In addition, the collection includes correspondence, clippings, photographs, programs, scrapbooks and scripts. |
