Eye on Dance and Eye on the Arts are two activities of Arts Resources in Collaboration, Inc. (ARC), a non-profit organization founded in 1976 by co-directors Celia Ipiotis and Jeff Bush to advance the public’s access to knowledge about the arts and culture.
Activities of ARC include the creation of 326 programs for the Eye on Dance television series that began in 1981. These programs are still available by purchase to colleges and universities. Eye on the Arts consists of electronic and print commentary and reviews of cultural events in New York City. ARC has been active in the conservation and preservation of the materials that make up Eye on Dance and Eye on the Arts programming and materials. ARC maintains a video library and multimedia educational resources as well as other research materials that informed the ARC programming.
