Summary | Arthur Foote was a American composer, pianist, educator, and church musician. As a member of the Boston Six, also known as the Second New England School, Foote and his colleagues were considered pivotal in the establishment of American classical music. The collection contains ten of Foote's works, most of which are manuscripts in his hand. Included are scores for orchestral, chamber, and solo piano works. |
