Summary | Steven Stucky (1949-2016) was a Pulitzer-Prize winning composer, conductor, and educator. He was affiliated with the Los Angeles Philharmonic for 21 years, the longest tenure of any American composer with a single major symphony orchestra, and an expert on the music of Witold Lutosławski. The collection consists of music, subject files, materials documenting his work with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, research on Lutosławski, teaching and lecture notes, clippings, and programs. |
