Processing History
Jane Cross, Mark Horowitz, Rachel McNellis, and Alicia Patterson processed the Burton Lane Papers, and Cross, McNellis, and Patterson coded the finding aid in 2022.
Transfers
Seven DVDs, seven discs, and three CDs from the Burton Lane Papers have been transferred to the Library of Congress Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division where they are identified as part of the Burton Lane Collection (MAVIS no. 17713). An inventory of this material is available in the Music Division's collection file.
Other Repositories
Yale University holds the E. Y. Harburg Collection which contains correspondence with Burton Lane, and the New York Public Library has several scripts as well as the E. Y. (Edgar Yipsel) Harburg Papers, Musical Scores, and Sound Recordings, which contain interviews with Lane and materials for Finian's Rainbow. Columbia University has an oral history recorded with Burton Lane.
