Summary | Martha Graham (1894-1991) was an internationally acclaimed modern dance choreographer and performer of the twentieth century. The Research Materials on Martha Graham is an artificial collection conceived to assemble the documentation of Martha Graham's legacy generated from projects funded by a 1998 grant from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF). The collection includes transcripts of interviews, photographs, performance and event programs, clippings and publications, correspondence, awards, materials documenting Library of Congress events pertaining to Graham, and other items related to Graham and her company. |
