Scope and Content Note
Sylvia Fine was an aficionado and student of musical theater who early in her career wrote music for stage productions and many of her husband Danny Kaye's films of the 1940s and 1950s. Later she taught musical comedy writing both in academia and through television. Throughout her life she collected recordings, scripts, sheet music, and posters related to American musical theater. This collection contains scripts she amassed over the years.
