The Hugo Kortschak Correspondence and Photographs span from 1904 to 1950. Correspondence to Kortschak, much of which concerns his involvement with Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge's Berkshire Music Festival, comprises the bulk of the materials. The collection also includes Photographs, both publicity shots of Kortschak and other musicians, as well as staged and candid photographs taken at the Berkshire Music Festival.
