Processing History
The Marilyn Church collection of courtroom art was processed by Sara Duke and the Junior Fellows Summer Interns: Tyson Koenig, Jennifer Nolan, and Hannah Slater in 2011. Finding aid encoded by Kristen Sosinski in November 2020.
Every effort was made to separate drawings into the appropriate trials and to be accurate in representing Marilyn Church's record. There may be some drawings on which a name appears that does not appear to be part of a trial. It could be that in looking at a particular drawing, the Library of Congress felt that the name was placed on a drawing that best represents the trial in which it was categorized. However, some errors may have occurred in our organization of the collection. Alternate titles were transcribed by Library staff from an inventory provided by the artist.
Not all of the groups of material are described at the same level of detail.
