Arrangement

The contact sheets are arranged by USN&WR job number, which were generally assigned chronologically upon arrival in the USN&WR library. Therefore, especially in the early material, dates may only be as specific as month and year. The negatives and transparencies are stored separately. Most of the 35mm negatives and many of the other negatives have been contact printed.
